When Space is at a Premium in your Bathroom
Not all of us have the space or money for full-sized bathroom suites. What then, is the alternative for your bathroom without compromising on the features you need, such as a shower for those quick getaways, as well as a bath to relax in?
If you have a smaller bathroom that won’t fit both, then the best option is going to be a shower bath suites. This means that rather than being a separate unit, your shower sits above your bath, and is often installed at the same time. If you choose a specialist bathroom company to provide and install it, then you’re guaranteed to avoid some of the problems that may arise from getting the bath and shower separately.
For example, the positioning of your suite should mean that although your shower is positioned high above your bath, a specialist built-in shower suite means that you will have a spray screen or other design feature that means your shower won’t spray anywhere other than in and around your bath – having to mop up after your showers is something we can all do without!
Another reason to buy a specialist suite rather than trying to install the two separately yourself is that it may be a little more complex to plum in that you thought. If you have an existing bath and want to add a shower, this isn’t always easy if you haven’t purchased the whole structure as a suite. However, the end advantages and space-saving considerations are the same.
